More amazing feedback from parents of a child using CEW

It is so heart-warming to hear feedback like this about children using CEW Classic (in the classroom) and CEW-Online (at home)!
"The program has been amazing for her and we have seen huge differences in her over the last 4 months; not just in her writing, but also in her enthusiasm for it. We are so happy that she has had the opportunity to work with you both."

We're reaching for the sky, and are so thankful to all the people along the way who have supported us!

It's been a busy Fall around here. Just to catch you up-- Michele was out in Colorado doing a fellowship with renowned occupational therapist Dr. Lucy Jane Miller at the STAR Center in Boulder. Carrie has been presenting at conferences in Ohio, Chicago, Massachusetts and New Jersey. We've been working with a company named Timocco, who has created a motion-gaming platform for CEW that works with your computer's camera and any round blue, red or green object... AND we've been trying to live our regular lives, as well! We're so excited about where we're going, and wouldn't be able to do it without our family, friends and awesome CEW supporters!

Its been an awesome conference in Chicago! We are so honored to be a part of this amazing group of practitioners, including Dr. Serena Wieder (see below)! The CEW presentation went great today, and now... home to the family! Thanks to Leep Forward (www.leepforward.com) for putting together such an amazing conference!

Awesome feedback from a CEW parent!!

"She has truly been enjoying her letters so much!  When she learns a new letter through her "CEW's" as she calls it :), she is excited to show us.  Her favorite is using the beeps to draw the letters for us.  You can see the excitement!  She always had a hard time differentiating between P and D. Through the use of the program and the beeps she knows the difference!

Not only does she recognize letters more she has also been more excited to use the sound the letter makes. She will start by going "pppppp pumpkin".  All positive results!"

(Below, even Mr. Penguin is learning how to make letters using our vertical surface template!)

"I have been working on handwriting with my daughter for years and she is not making progress.  I am so excited that there is now a program that she will enjoy.  She loves singing and dancing and will love learning the letters by doing that!" ~ C's Mom, clients of Lucy Jane Miller's STAR center

Michele continues her collaboration with the STAR center and their amazing therapists.  She is currently working with Lucy Jane Miller receiving advanced supervision.  While learning more about sensory integration theory and enjoying the Rockies she is sharing CEW with many parents.

That's right, CEW is not just for therapists and teachers.  Parents and children dance and sing their way through the curriculum too!  Check it out or share it with a parent of a child who is struggling with writing.

Creative Ways to Practice Handwriting

This past August, one of STAR's amazing therapists - Rachel Whetstone - came up with a great way to use our vertical surface templates!

These are paint trays taped vertically onto a table. Having this set up minimizes transitions as the students can do the vertical and table work on the same space. For an added bonus, the bumps in the bottom of the tray provide increased input as well.  We loved them and so did the kids! Thanks, Rachel!

Please share your ideas with is so we can share them with others using CEW! Email us at connectexperiencewrite@gmail.com.
